Aggie’s Garden

Aggie’s Bed and Breakfast nestles within a beautiful garden setting. Every season delights with different colours and textures. The gardens at Aggie’s inspire moments of peacefulness and tranquility.

Margaret and John have shown an abundance of creative flair, bringing to life old-world style and cottage garden charm, resulting in unique spaces they are delighted to share with you.

Aggie’s garden is a garden with style, personality, and considered planting. Hedges and topiary for structure and form. Roses and cottage plants add a natural elegance. Hollyhocks and Queen Anne’s Lace pop up at will and add height and colour. Repurposed elements, containers, many and varied, add texture and interest in areas of Aggie’s garden.

Autumn is a colourful season with many deciduous shrubs and trees putting on a show before winter. Cotinus (Smoke Bush), a favourite.

In Winter we enjoy camellias under planted with hellebores and polyanthus, evergreen clematis and textured silhouette trees and seed pods.

Spring bursts into blossom with a show by the ornamental weeping silver pear, viburnums, crabapples, quince and other fruit trees. A host of golden daffodils burst into bloom under the silver birch tree as it bursts into leaf. The birds and the bees share the many birdbaths in Aggie’s garden.

Summer, an ongoing bursting of colour, filling Aggie’s garden with the fragrance of many Roses. Dine alfresco in the garden amongst the wonderful collection of favourite plants.

Visit Aggie’s, rest and enjoy this inspiring garden.

Thank you for the most wonderful accommodation and breakfast. It is an idyllic setting.  Beautiful gardens and country setting. Lovely little alcoves to relax in. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will do again in the near future. Thank you both.
